Transylvania
County is the

more than 250 waterfalls, the Blue Ridge Parkway and nature
everywhere.
The main town is Brevard, home of the Brevard Music Center, a laid back community with friendly people, and the gateway to the Pisgah National Forest. Transylvania County has been listed in various national publications as one of the best places to live and raise a family and has become a haven for retirees. and 6,025 feet at it's highest. The elevation in the center of Brevard,
at Main and Broad Street is 2,230 feet. The average daily temperature
in the winter is 38 degrees with the average daily temperature in the
summer being 83 degrees. Average annual precipitation is 68 inches with
